Formula Student Oulu ry is a team based in University of Oulu. It  was established in 2013. FSO participates yearly in the international Formula Student – engineering competitions by designing and manufacturing a race car according to FSG-rules.

FSO earned it’s first podiums back in 2023 and finished 8th Overall in both FS Czech Republic and FS Germany competitions.

This was just the beginning, as our team achieved it’s first two Overall podiums during the 2025 season. FSO placed 1st Overall in FS Balkans and 2nd Overall in FS Czech Republic.

Ater the most successful season in FSO’s history, we are now working on our first hybrid car for the 2026 season.
