Formula Student Oulu ry is a team based at the University of Oulu. Established in 2013, the team participates annually in international Formula Student engineering competitions by designing and manufacturing a race car according to FSG rules.

FSO earned its first podiums  in Acceleration and Skid Pad at FS Czech Republic and FS Germany back in 2023.

This was just the beginning: during the 2025 season, the team achieved its first two overall podiums, placing 1st overall in FS Balkans and 2nd overall in FS Czech Republic. In 2026, we finished P8 at FS Alpe Adria after our car broke down during the endurance event.

Our team is now moving on to the 2027 season, as we continue the development of our hybrid system for the new combustion vehicle (CV).
