Formula Student Oulu ry is a team based in Oulu University. It  was established in 2013. FSO participates yearly in the international Formula Student – engineering competitions by planning and building a race car according to FSG-rules.

FSO earned it’s first podiums in 2023 and finished 8th overall in both Formula Student Czech Republic and Formula Student Germany.

We are currently working our last combustion car for the 2024 season. We have plans to transition to a hybrid  powertrain for the 2025 season.
