Here are some pictures of the progress again. We’re going with paddle shifters on the steering wheel, which is mostly water cut from aluminium. The plastic parts are 3D-printed and the assembly feels nice and firm.
We got a new important sponsor recently. Ovako is providing us with high quality steel material from which we can manufacture new parts for our current and future cars. In the image below are some 34CrNiMo6 and 42CrMo4 bars. Should last for a while!
We also bought some 6082 aluminium from Alumeco with some serious discount. Went straight to the water cutter. Uprights coming soon!
