Our front steering knuckles are taking shape. Olli did some FEM analyses simulating 1.5 g deceleration of the car, and the structure seems to be really strong. Strong enough to be optimized even further, since we don’t want to have any excess material weighing the car down. Being unsprung mass, the steering knuckles need to be as light as possible while still having the needed strength. We’ll see how slim can we go.
